Joss Whedon is a writer, director, executive producer, & creator of several television series, most famously Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, Firefly, and Dollhouse. In film he wrote and directed 2005's Serenity, based on his television series Firefly, he co-wrote and produced 2012's The Cabin in the Woods, and wrote and directed 2012's Marvel's The Avengers, the third highest-grossing film of all time. Additionally he has written 2 musicals.
