It's hard to explain, but it looks like we're dealing with something that in no way resembles or is connected to the pop culture which surrounds us everywhere today. Listening to them we have the impression, even implication, that quite probably they aren't capable of doing anything other than playing. They are, in their own way, a unique occurrence. Their whole atmosphere could be described as a combination of a number of associations - Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Placebo, Queens Of The Stone Age and Interpol.
