In the late 1960s, the unisex duo Peggy Scott and Jo Jo Benson made the Billboard Hot 100. All three songs placed much higher on the R&B chart. Those songs are "Lover's Holiday", "Pickin' Wild Mountain Berries", and "Soul Shake." They scored a minor hit with the song "I Want To Love You Baby." By then, the duo's relationship was strained. They recorded a few more obscure singles in the early 1970s with no success before disbanding.
