Iridium Flares is a multi-platform artistic project; the brainchild of Darren Woolridge. The musical arm of this ambitious project sees Woolridge combine squelchy melodies with scratchy beats to create a haunting sound ripe with crescendo. Woolridge utilises an innovative and imaginative array of instruments to create his ionized sound clash; pitting glockenspiel against dark digital beats, static siren feedback against ukulele and even including body percussion to add an earthier layer to this atmospheric endeavour.
