Emerging from Hobart in 2001, Stand Defiant are a four-piece punk rock band, whose frenetic blend of punk and melodic hardcore has been battering audiences across the devils island and mainland Australia for four years. Technical, fast, loud and never shy of expressing a belief, Stand Defiant have fought fiercely to build the Tasmanian scene and along with label mates The Scandal and Ballpoint have a staple of the local punk/hardcore community. Stand Defiants debut release was an independent 9-track album, So Called Humanity, which was recorded in March 2003.
