There are at least four bands called Uran:
1. A swedish ebm-band with female singer Vloona.
2. A streetpunk band from Poland.
3. A japanese popsinger on game soundtracks.
4. A swedish experimental rock/electronic band. URAN (1) In 1996, founders Jonas Gabrielsson and Jah Rathburn were looking for a singer, since they wanted to start a new band together. They had already been playing in the same EBM band, which eventually split up, and so the two ex-members decided to work on a new project.
