Edgars Rubenis is a Latvian experimental guitar player who has recently started a solo project under his own name. His solo debut Mythoscope - a record of low fidelity drone hymns - will be out on Skaņu Mežs Records in late autumn of 2013. Rubenis has been working in various genres of modern rock music, and so far is most notable for activities with Mona de Bo, a slowcore band he and the drummer Edgars Eihmanis established as a duo in Rīga, Latvia in 2005.
