Synthesia is a French ambient electronic progressive rock/metal band created in the end of 2004 and made of 2 members: Aurélien Diérick (music, keyboards, guitars) and Julien Bazile (lyrics, melodies, voices). They made one "internet/home made" album entitled "Rain of Light" (completed in 2007) along with many covers and they're currently working on a new album entitled "The Time Travellers" (probably finished before the end of 2009). The main influences of the band are Ayreon, Rhapsody, Luca Turilli, Mike Oldfield, Kitaro, Voyager (the Australian band) or Pink Floyd.
