Tjeerd van Zanen is a mainly self taugt musician, who played and toured with Jango Edwards, Rick DeVito, Back To Basic and Ugly White Belly, to name a few. Next to being a studio guitarist he is also producer and responsible for the excellent sound of the CD’s of The Auratones. Tjeerd twice composed the winning song for the Dutch National Song contest (’99 & ’03) and also composed for recording artist Ilse de Lange.
