Lise Westzynthius was born by a Finnish mother and a Danish father. She is a very melancholic (in the good sense of the word) singer-songwriter, that writes and sing in a wide range of languages (counting Danish, French etc.). She was a founding member of the noise pop group Luksus, together with the Danish singer-songwriter Mikael Simpson, that existed from 1994 to 1999. Luksus' cds have become somewhat of collectors items, which makes them rather hard to get ones hands on.
