Luminol was formed in Italy by Christian Valenti and Barbara Burgio in the early 90's.
When Barbara Burgio moved to Seattle, Washington in 2006 transformed the folky-blues sound into a new electrified version and introduced more theatrical aspect to their live shows. Luminol published Organ Grinder, its first American EP, in 2008; followed by Locked In The Woods (2011) The current line up consist of Barbara Burgio (vocals, effects), Don Ayers (drums), Andy Ayers (guitar), Chris Winters (guitar), Rich Huston (bass) and Juan Quiroga (violin).
