Altamiro Carrilho is a Brazilian flutist and composer. He performs choro, which is an instrumental musical genre popular in Brazil. He has recorded over one hundred albums, composed more than two hundred songs and has performed in over forty countries. He has also been invited to appear with various symphony orchestras, which shows his great musical versatility.
