Amity Lane was formed in 2005 by Kevin Palmer, member of the gold-selling music group TRUSTcompany, and Josh Moates, former member of TRUSTcompany. Initially a three-piece group featuring Kevin Palmer's wife, Layla Palmer, the band inked a deal with Corporate Punishment Records on May 15, 2006. The band's debut album titled The Sound of Regret was released on on October 31, 2006.
