Linda Andrews (born October 19, 1973 in Tórshavn), is a Faroese singer who won the second season of the Danish version of The X Factor, and became the first faroese winner of it. She was born and raised in Torshavn. She has a nine-year-old daughter, Celeste, with whom she lives in Valby. It was Celeste who got her mother to join the X Factor, and she eventually auditioned in Copenhagen, Denmark. Linda had recently divorced her husband of seven years, and she wanted to prove to her daughter that she could easily stand on her own two feet.
