A group consisting of mostly Swedish musicians and music students who travelled through different parts of the Soviet Union (1970:s) collecting and recompiling and interpreting traditional folk music as well as gathering instruments and typical clothes and ways of mastering the voices, from all parts of the USSR.
They performed in groups with various instruments in Sweden, the USSR as well as in other countries, typically with sets of different kinds of balalaikas, flutes, and more exotic instruments, as well as different kind of songs and arrangements.
