Introduction Jeffry S(tephanus) Tjandra is an Indonesian singer and lyricist. A second child among 5 other siblings, Jeffry was born in Jakarta on the 4th of June. His parents were divorced while he was still young. He started getting public performances by joining the choir of his local church, GKI Jakarta, and was later part of the vocal group Yericho. He started his solo career when he released the album "Pelita Hidup" in 1997 on the [url="http://www.maranathaindonesia.com/";]Maranatha Records label. He has since released another 11 albums under various labels.
