Since 2003, bllix has been the primary electronic music project of Oregon-based solo artist, bllix. Beginning her musical endeavors with the violin at age six, cello and classical guitar were later added to her studies. Electronic instrumentation and composition surfaced in the mid-1990s, leading to several informal releases in the industrial and experimental electronic genres during 1998 - 2001, under various aliases (including Defective Unit and [[]]).
