Woodie Alien was formed in 1998 in Carapachay, Buenos Aires, Argentina, when three friends gathered together after school to play some covers. In its original line up we can find Rodrigo Quevedo, Leandro Vázquez and Nicolás G. Zeppo. After a while they started playing long improvisations that were improved rehearsal after rehearsal, and that were made public on parties and school events. Ridiculousness, contradiction, films, oriental culture and their healthy obsession with extraterrestrial life forms and paranormal phenomena baptized the group.
