Masskva is a pseudonym of a Russian pop rock singer. The girl writes the texts to her songs on rehearsals, in the cafés, when using the public transport or just on the street because she finds her inspiration in people and their relations. Most of her songs are an autobiography but any listener finds something on her or his own. Born in Novyj Urgenoi in 1988, Valeriya Gureeva changed her last name to Masskva. Lera had this nickname since her ambitions of moving in Moscow and used it as a pseudonym in her singing career. She moved to Moscow in 2002.
