Gene Hunt is one of the early pioneers when it comes to Chicago house music. He has been a producer and DJ since the 1980s, playing at legendary venues such as The Warehouse, The Music Box, Medusas and The Playground to name a few. His first record was an EP called Living In A Land, today regarded as a classic. It was released in 1989 on Housetime Records, a sister label of the seminal Trax Records. Since then he has put out tracks on many respected house labels.
