He was born Guy Harney in Roseau Dominica and later adopted the alias "Simpleman" as a chanter on Reggae Vibes Productions Inc. His musical origin like many of his predecessors, commenced at the tender age of 14 and career initiatives blossomed after becoming a fan favorite at local school competitions.
