Slowest Runner is an instrumental post-baroque band housed in Brooklyn, New York that combines strings and piano with a traditional rock setup and experimental sound manipulation techniques for a uniquely-embellished sound. They recorded five songs live in a living room in Somerville, MA in May 2009 that became 'The Flophouse Sessions'. The band released their debut full-length album 'We, Burning Giraffes' in June 2010.
