There are at least two artists who go by the name of String Theory. 1. String Theory was an electronic music band from Chicago, USA that existed from 1996 until 2005. Their releases included the albums Anhedonia (2002) and Radiovalerian (2004). 2. Los Angeles performance group String Theory is a performance ensemble dedicated to creating innovative work. Chicago's String Theory (1996 - 2005) was spawned in 1996 when Nate Tucker and Josh Davison moved into a loft and couldn't play rock music any more due to bad soundproofing and a cantankerous landlord.
