Cæsar was the moniker of Danish protest singer Bjarne Bøgesø Rasmussen (born i 1938, died 22nd of April 2000).
He emerged in the 1960s and quickly became popular due to protest songs like "Storkespringvandet" and more humourist and songs with 'adult' lyrics like "Flickan fin fin" og "I Holmens gade, i røvens kælder".
He was initially known as a Copenhagen folk singer, but quickly after releasing his first songs he caused an uproar in the established musical society for his explicit lyrics use.
