Honoring the Morphine legacy but not being restricted by it is a very tough challenge. A group going by the name The (Ever Expanding) Elastic Waste Band had been playing for a couple of years before even considering to cover Morphine tunes. The obvious difference between some random group playing Morphine songs and this one is that members Dana Colley (baritone sax) and Jerome Dupree (drums) were former members of Morphine.
