Kammersänger Professor Kurt Moll was born 1938 in Cologne. He has studied at the Hochschule in Cologne and got his first engagement 1961 in Aachen. After some seasons in Mainz and Wuppertal he was engaged at the Staatsoper Hamburg in 1970. In this summer he sang also his first Sarastro at the Salzburg Festival under W. Sawallisch.
Then came Teatro La Scala with Osmin and Vienna with Gurnemanz. From 1973 until 1977 Bayreuth Festival with several parts like Fafner, Pogner, Kinq Marke, Hundinq etc.
