Joel Fajerman is a French musician, born in 1948 in Paris. He played piano from a young age (5 years), and at age 13 started learning guitar. After leaving school at 17, he joined a rock band, then toured in the 60s and 70s with entertainers like Nicoletta, Mike Brandt, Dario Moreno and Claude Francois. He also recorded as part of a ye-ye group called "The Little Mornings" in 1974, published on Claude Francois' label. His meeting with the pianist Pierre Porte, with whom he produced many 45s, led to him discovering his own signature sound involving synthesizers, keyboards and arrangements.
