Huey Dunbar, was born on May 15, 1974. Born in New York City from a Puerto Rican mother and a Jamaican father, Huey grew up all over New York; Harlem, Washington Heights, Queens, The Bronx and even spent a few years of his childhood living in Lares, Puerto Rico. From when he was a baby, beginning to discover the gift of song, his mother motivated him to sing and was instrumental in helping him to develop a profound love for his Puerto Rican roots.
