Darrell De'Angelo Contee a.k.a Yung Texxu$, was raised in the small city of Killeen, TX. He was introduced to music at an early age by his mother Kim Contee an aspiring artist herself. His father, Darrell Hovington spent the early part of Texx’s life serving a 10-year prison sentence, so the future MC was 11-years old when they first met.
