A two-men Drum and Bass formation from the pounding D&B heart of the Netherlands. Eskalation started as most typical DJ-acts do. Mid-nineties both of the Eskalation-members developped an interest for the broken beats. The first few years were spent attending parties, watching and listening.
Although this was quite a fun time for both Taco Koek and Merijn Huiskamp (thank god this guys teamed up to form Eskalation, so I don't have to type this ridiculous names over and over again), the two men teamed up in the summer of 2001, fed up with being mere audience.
