Formed in 2005 by Nicolai Schneekloth and Clemens Telling. Die Dumme Dänen is a political alternative rock band from Denmark. The band is known for its blend of rap/ hiphop and hard rock. Die Dumme Dänen released their debut record in 2006, which made the 3 singles "Kanal Nul", "Kors og Flag" and "Sommerpunk", which received a lot of commercial sucess. The band have also released a song on Protestsange.dk called "Når Bomben Sprænger". Clemens lyrics are about current subjects like the youth, drugs and critisism of the current gouvernment in Denmark, aswell as other political issues.
