Leon Schuster, comedian, singer and actor, is South Africa's candid camera king. He is well known for his comedic films and his passion for showcasing South Africa's culture. Schuster became the obvious successor to Jamie Uys in the local South African film industry. He was voted 30th in the Top 100 Great South Africans in 2004. Although critics have consistently and repeatedly slated Schuster's work, he remains a favourite amongst South Africa's admittedly limited middle class.
