Brad Garrett was born in Woodland Hills, Calfornia in 1960. He dropped out of college after six weeks in order to become a stand-up comedian. He got his big break in 1983 by winning the comedy category of "Star Search". He is best known for his role as Ray Romano's brother Robert in the sitcom "Everybody Loves Raymond" and for starring in the sitcom "Til Death".
