BIRI are an un-signed band from Hull, UK, who have been described as playing "post-punk jigz like post-drink kicks". Influences from My Bloody Valentine, Pink Floyd, The Brian Jonestown Massacre and the Pixies are all evident. Initially formed in July 2010; they spent 9 months writing before playing their first gig on the 14th of April 2011. They had a busy Summer of gigging in 2011 before releasing their debut EP on the 8th of September.
