“If there’s one thing I’m good at, it’s assembling people from different backgrounds and making it work as a collective” states Patrick Naud, singer for the call up. Having played with most of his bandmates in past projects, he knew that this mix was just right. After spending most of 2004 writing songs about disappointments, break-ups and the bleak human condition, he recorded a few of them and passed some tapes around.
