"Litesalive is my room-mate Todd, so I hear these strange gurglings and rumblings coming from the back of the apartment all the time and it's an interesting way to hear music - hearing it before it finds its form or has been fixed into any kind of narrative that anyone outside the experience of the person making it could recognize or understand. So this song's ultimate accomplishment to me is structural, as I already have a frequent proximity to Todd's tonal exercises. As a guitarist Todd has always perplexed plenty of us that play with him and I've always been excited by how he does that.
