Born and raised in Hip Hop’s birthplace of Bronx, New York, Chubbie looked up to harder street acts like Wu-Tang and Cam’ron at the start of their careers. He was further inspired when he heard the Notorious B.I.G.’s classic debut Ready To Die, and at only 14-years-old he knew his dream was to become a rap star. “When I heard Big it blew my mind,” explains Chubbie. “I was fascinated by how he used to rap.
