Resistência was a Portuguese band formed in the 90's and consisted of the most influential Portuguese artists of the time which had their own bands and their own identity. Resistência mainly had songs from those same artists and bands but the songs given a unique approach mainly with the use of acoustic guitars.
They quickly became immensely popular and to this day remains of the most successful projects in Portuguese music.
