Luis Perdomo (Caracas, 1971) is a Venezuelan jazz pianist and composer. Soon after moving to New York City at the age of 22, he gained recognition in the jazz scene recording and performing with musicians such as Ravi Coltrane, John Patitucci, Ray Barretto, Miguel Zenón, Alice Coltrane, among others, playing an style between modern straight ahead and latin jazz. Perdomo has released 5 albums to date as leader, most notably "Universal Mind" featuring double bassist Drew Gress and drummer Jack DeJohnette.
