Born in the famous village of Tarkihe near Ludhiana and raised in a musical family, the son of the great maestro Sh. Kuldip Manak (also known as the Kalyian Da Baadshah) who started his glorious musical journey in 1968. My father has recorded hundreds of superhit folk songs and gained success worldwide with legendary hit albums and features in Punjabi movies. Having my father as my true inspiration and teacher, I aspired to learn and create a folk sound accompanied by the ethics my father taught rev in raag sangeet.
