Gnomefoam is Steve Bromley, from Bradford, UK. In the first minutes of 2008, the sky flared with fireworks and Gnomefoam was born. A New Year's Resolution was made: to record the sounds that had been bouncing around the inside of his skull for many years. Steve couldn’t play any musical instruments – but that’s no barrier to music making! He had a passion, and he was going to act. In the first week of Gnomefoam's new life, he sculpted the Frozen Freedom EP, an EP of scratchy, experimental material made up of found sounds and musical elements that had little regard for genre or sound quality.
