There are two bands called the Flares. The first is a young, aspiring band from germany, consisting of 5 guys, who teamed up randomly in summer of 2007 to achieve one goal: Free music from its natural corset based on chorus, verse and brigde – let it simply float and happen. They don’t want to affix the selfmade seal of stories, experiences or beliefs to anybody. Rather, their intention is that everybody should use his imagination to create the pictures inside his head. But in order to make this even happen, one precedent condition is essential: The ability to stir up feelings.
