Born in Los Angeles just twenty-three years ago to a minister who sang and played both guitar and piano.. At the age of three, Donna began singing with her older sister, Ineta. Although performances were restricted to church-oriented affairs, Donna idolized the R&B sounds of Gladys Knight and Aretha Franklin.
