WACT emerged from the ashes of the PSEUDO HIPPIES. Consisting of Kris, Adam, Dan and Tom, the Pseudo's released two singles and conquered Germany with the intention of "eating their women, shagging their beer and drinking their sausages." In the summer of 1994, Canadian Dave answers a "Guitarist Wanted" advert in the Rough Trade record shop. He meets Danny and Kris over a few pints at the Lock Tavern in Camden Town and they get along famously. Over the next 15 months Wact play dozens of gigs throughout Southern England, release a single and are featured on three compilation CDs.
