Born Xavier Jamayel Berry, and raised in the Quad Cities (Iowa/Illinois), Young X moved to Orlando, Fl where and formed MidSouth Muzik with producer A.Gee Thompson and fellow artist Devvon Terrell. In 2010 Young X signed a management deal with Ryan “The R” Matthews, and put out 2 mixtapes with MidSouth Muzik co-owner Devvon Terrell.
