Robert Alan Deal was born May 4th, 1951 to parents Tina and Frank Deal. The second of five children, Robert was born in Huntington, Indiana where he would spend the earlier part of his childhood years. The journey from Robert Alan Deal to Mick Mars was a long one fueled by the determination of a man who just wanted to play. It began one Christmas morning when Mick was 6 years old.
