David A. Stewart (born David Allan Stewart in Sunderland, Tyne and Wear, England, on 9 September 1952), also known as Dave Stewart, is a guitarist, singer, record and film producer as well as a sound engineer. He is known mostly for being one half of the famous pop duo Eurythmics, along with Annie Lennox. He also has a solo career as well as working with with a wide range of other artists. In 1971, whilst still in his teens, Stewart secured a record deal as part of short-lived folk-rock band Longdancer (which itself grew out of a folk duo comprising Stewart and Brian Harrison)...
