Мизар (Mizar) is a Macedonian darkwave band with folklore and electronic elements formed in 1983 in Skopje. They achieved a status of a cult band, especially in Republic of Macedonia and across the former Yugoslav countries. Mizar was a part of the Makedonska Streljba movement. Their first self-titled album was released 1988 in Ljubljana, Slovenia by the independent record label Helidon. This album was the first former Yugoslav rock album solely in Macedonian language.
