The Chubukos is a 70's group of great Mainstream session musicians including acid-jazz organist Charles Kynard, that released a 7" single for Mainstream / Red Lion Production Records in 1973 called "House of Rising Funk". The group was called The Chubukos for the 7" single, but they were called Afrique for their LP Soul Makossa Line up:
