Ex-members of arguably Cork’s first punk band Nun Attax Finbarr Donnelly (vocals) and Ricky Dineen (guitar) met guitarist Mick Stack in 1981 and began to play together, soon after adding cellist Una Ni Chanainn who’d they’d seen performing in a play with Mick Lynch (of the Mean Features). This line up evolved into Five Go Down to the Sea? In 1982 with another Nun Attax member Keith “Smelly” O’Connell on drums.
